My five favorite photos from Katie's Senior Session at Fisherman's Point.
Lindsay and Jon || Vermont Wedding || Middlebury VT
Lindsay was one of my first friends when I moved to Middlebury, VT when I was 10 years old. She was(is) nice to everyone and was one of the few people who made me feel at home in this new town. Since then we've left our matching oval glasses for contacts, run hundreds of miles in stride with each other, shared in the highs and lows of new love and heartbreak, slipped and slid through freshman year at UVM together leaning on each other when need be, and celebrating the new freedom that was life outside of Middlebury, and our lives continued to consistently weave in and out of each others way over the next three years. Lindsay and Jon have an easy, playful love with one another and hold their arms open to their family and friends to experience it with them. It's been a heck of a ride watching their story unfold, and I'm glad I was able to document their wedding day. Enjoy the photographs!

Love and Lobsters: The Phippsburg 500
I moved to Maine almost two years ago and still had never eaten a lobster from its shell until last week. Blasphemous, I know. But when you befriend a rad photographer who happens to be dating a lobsterman, you end up spending the perfect summer evening getting the "Phippsburg 500 Tour" of all the most pretty sights in Phippsburg documenting every minute of it and then pull your own dinner out of the harbor. I'll admit, I was a little(okay maybe a lot) squeamish at first at my little lobster friend but once I got the hang of cracking his knuckles and learned how delicious the claw meat is drenched in butter, I put my memories of his flailing claws aside and enjoyed my meal. Enjoy the photos of our little adventure! (Any I am pictured in were taken by the lovely Jamie Mercurio)
