Lydia is one of my dearest, closest friends from college who I was lucky enough to squeeze in a breakfast with when I was back in Burlington last week for less than 24 hours. We talked as fast as our mouths allowed, simply turning to the next page of our friendship and hardly missing a beat since the last time I saw her. She looked so gosh darn cute that I asked if she would mind if I took a few photos of her while I walked her to her car.
Spending time with Lydia reminded me that it is important to surround yourself with good people, lean on the support of others when you need to and that it isn't selfish to take care of yourself.
