After two days on the road filming a promotional video for Rural Partners in Medicine, I got the pleasure of going climbing at Rose Domes with my dad, my brother Erik and friend Mandie. The sun was shining, and the air was a crisp 32 degrees. After being in 80 degree humidity in Nebraska two days ago, it was quite a shock to my system. That white stuff in the background is snow. Steamboat seems keen on skipping fall, a fact which based on the copious images of red-orange maple leaves, apple picking, and new england fall adventuring that have inundated my newsfeeds lately, leaves me rather nostalgic for fall at UVM. Nonetheless, we had a great time, and gave me a great excuse to whip up some hot cocoa when I returned home. Click through to enjoy the pictures!
