I spent a week with my family at two of our Colorado hometowns, Grand Junction and Steamboat Springs. This first selection of photos is from the few days we spend in Grand Junction. It was great to get out and shoot for fun on some of our family dog walks and adventures. Enjoy!
Ilse Jacobsen || Lifestyle Photography
Rain boots are an essential part of any Mainer's wardrobe. I have several pairs, and when the weather turns for the worse, which is a pretty common thing during the cooler weather months I reach for my Bean Boots, or classic rubber wellies. The latest addition to my collection are a pair of bright red Ilse Jacobsen Rub 1 boots sent to me by Lines of Denmark. The coolest thing about these boots, besides that they are adjustable and lined with fleece, is that they are sold online and in stores at Rough and Tumble - a leatherwork store based out of Norway, Maine. I had a chance to visit their brand new store in Portland last week and let me just say as a girl who loves a good bag, their leather purses, totes and handbags are delightful!
I connected with Abby Johnson-Ruscanksy over Instagram when I saw that Lines of Denmark had sent her a pair of boots to photograph as well. We embarked on a mini adventure to the seashore to get some photos of the boots in action. If you haven't heard me say it before, I love the way Instagram connects people with similar interests and passions and Abby is just as delighful in person as she portrays herself on her instagram feed.
Forrest Stone || Film in Progress
I've been working on a brand film for Portland, Maine local woodworker and metalsmith Forrest Stone and just wanted to share a few still images I've captured during our last few sessions. He is truly a gifted artist and it's been like magic watching him work.
